Is it bad for your eyes to wear clear safety glasses outside in the sun?
Does more UV rays get into your eyes if your wearing clear safety glasses compared to wearing no glasses at all? I use them when I ride my bike during the day to keep bugs out of my eyes.
No. Most plastics absorb UV, so you are saving yourself from some risk of cataracts later in life. Also the eye is one of the places in your body that have very little infection resistance.
Fashion notwithstanding, you are doing good.
